Answered same ring, most daysGrouting, abandonment, inspections, and troubleshooting. Licensed NC well contractor with the paperwork, the truck, and the crew to do it right the first time.
We answer the phone, show up, and get the water back on. Every job, every call, every review.
Some jobs are code-required. Some are the difference between a working well and a contamination problem. All of it is inside a NC licensed well contractor's scope, and it's what we do every day.
Sealing the annular space between casing and borehole. Required on new wells and often after repairs. Keeps surface contamination out of your drinking water.
Permanent, code-required closure of unused wells. We pull the pump, plug per NC 15A NCAC 02C, file the paperwork, and give you a copy for your records.
Buying a home with a well? We inspect pump, tank, wiring, controls, wellhead, flow rate, and water quality. Written report to share with your realtor or lender.
Something's off and no one can figure out what. We chase it down: electrical, mechanical, water quality, well itself. One crew, one answer.
Repair, replacement, or new install of the pitless adapter (the fitting that sends water from the well to the house underground). Common failure point on older wells.
Damaged or non-code wellheads. Cap replacement, sanitary seals, and grading around the wellhead to keep surface water out.
Grout is the sealant (usually bentonite clay or neat cement) that fills the space between the outside of your well casing and the borehole wall. Without it, surface water can travel straight down alongside the casing into your drinking water. Rain runoff, fertilizer, and worse.
NC requires grouting on all new wells and typically on any well that's been re-worked or had its casing pulled. If your well was drilled decades ago and has never been grouted, or if the grout has degraded, it's worth having a licensed well contractor take a look.
An unused well isn't harmless. It's a direct pipe from the surface down to the aquifer. NC code (15A NCAC 02C .0113) requires proper closure: pull the pump, decontaminate, fill the well with approved materials in the required lifts, cap the surface, and file paperwork with the county health department.
You'd be surprised how often we find old, forgotten wells on properties, especially older farm properties. If you have one you're not using, or you're doing new construction where an old well is in the way, we handle the whole abandonment start to finish.
No portals, no menus, no upsells. One call to a real local crew and a straight answer on price.

Jacob and his crew came in clutch. Our well had collapsed and not many companies were willing to respond late on a Saturday night. His team showed up with positive attitudes and saved the day. Down to earth, knowledgeable, and helpful. 10/10 recommend!
An excellent experience from start to finish. Jake answered right away when I called late last night. Wayne and Will arrived first thing, quickly diagnosed the problem, and the entire system was installed and completed before dinner. Professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They absolutely saved the day!
Jake and his crew were phenomenal. Our pump went out over the weekend and they responded that evening, came the next day, and had our water running again in no time. Great communication, friendly and trustworthy staff. You can tell they care. Wouldn't recommend anyone else before Ridgeline.
We cover Catawba County and every surrounding town that pulls water from a well.

Filling the space between the well casing and the borehole with an approved sealant (bentonite or neat cement) to keep surface water and contaminants out of the well. NC requires it on new wells and often on repaired ones.
Permanent, code-required closure of a well that's no longer in use. Done wrong, an abandoned well is a groundwater contamination path. We handle the pull, the fill, the cap, and the county paperwork.
Yes. Pre-purchase well and pump inspections that check the pump, tank, controls, water quality, flow rate, and the well itself. Written report you can share with your realtor or lender.
Some jobs (new wells, abandonment) require county health department permits. Ridgeline is a licensed NC well contractor and handles the permit application, inspection, and reporting as part of the job.
Most residential abandonments are a one-day job on-site, plus paperwork filed with the county. Larger or deeper wells take longer.
Absolutely. We do plenty of pre-sale grouting, abandonment, and repair work so a well passes a buyer's inspection or a lender's requirements.
